We are focusing on looking after our customers, doing events and designing the next collection for Spring Summer 2018.

How is business on the retail side at the moment?

Business on the retail side at the moment is very up and down as it’s so dependent on the weather and the footfall. Last week Tuesday proved to be busier than Saturday so you never know.

What are you selling most of right now?

Our trousers are walking out at the moment, they are on a fifth reorder. Also our chiffon tops and loose chiffon dresses have been reordered three times.

How is the wholesale side of the business going?

The wholesale is busy in two fold. We have some independents increasing their area and budgets with us and dedicating specific areas in their stores to our clothing. Whereas some customers have become over-cautious and have lost confidence in the market in general. These customers are suffering and are not providing an exciting offer in their stores.

What has the reaction been to your SS17 collections?

The spring summer 2017 collection has had a great reaction on the top end. Our knitted luxury dresses ranging from £399 to £700 have been selling very well and have been worn by the likes of Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson and Lucy Mecklenburgh from The Only Way is Essex.

What AW17 trend are you are most excited about?

I am most excited about the embroidered jackets and beaded knitwear which was on the catwalks in Paris and Milan. I can’t wait to see more of this coming into stores soon.

What are your favourite pieces in store at the moment?

Our separates, which retail from £39 to £99, have been very well received. My favourite piece is the luxury knitted dress in pale blue, which retails at £550. I love our chiffon tops too and they have phenomenal colours. The fabric of the tops is fantastic as it’s machine washable, easy to wear and very comfortable.

What will you be concentrating on business-wise for the next few months?

We are opening a new standalone store so we are very excited. On top of that we also have two new independent concessions opening. As always, we are focusing on looking after our customers, doing events and designing the next collection: Spring Summer 2018.
